1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Salvador Leu, operating as Ajja Sonic ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data in connection with Ajja Sonic software products such as Interlock and Pattern303 (the "Software") and our website ajjasonic.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

Salvador Leu
Operating as Ajja Sonic
Switzerland
Email: Ajja Sonic

3. Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

At purchase: Your name and email address. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details or full payment information on our servers. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

For license management: Your email address, license key, and machine identifiers (hardware IDs) for the devices on which you activate the Software. This data is necessary to enforce the license terms and allow you to manage your activations.

From the Software: The Software periodically contacts our license server to verify your license status. This communication transmits your license key and a machine identifier. No audio data, project data, usage behaviour, or other personal content is collected or transmitted by the Software.

Website analytics: We may use analytics tools to collect anonymous usage data about how visitors interact with our website. If implemented, this data will not personally identify you.

Download statistics: When you download an installer or manual, we record which file was downloaded and when. We do not store your IP address: a short anonymous code, derived from your connection and changing every day, is used only to count unique downloads.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

To process your purchase and deliver your license. To manage license activations and deactivations across your machines. To verify your license status via periodic checks from the Software. To provide customer support. To send important notices about the Software, such as security updates or changes to these terms. To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Contract performance: Processing your purchase, managing your license, and providing the Software requires us to process your name, email, and machine identifiers.

Legitimate interest: License verification and fraud prevention are necessary to protect our business and our customers.

Consent: Where required, such as for optional marketing communications or analytics.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe handles your payment information securely in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. See: stripe.com/privacy

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, except where required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request deletion of your data and no longer hold an active license, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. License verification is performed over encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you. Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data. Delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements. Restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances. Object to processing based on legitimate interest. Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Ajja Sonic . We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if applicable, your local EU supervisory authority.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside of Switzerland or the EU. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Children's Privacy

The Software is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
