Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ajja Sonic software products, including Interlock and Pattern303 (each, the "Software") developed and sold by Salvador Leu, operating as Ajja Sonic, based in Switzerland ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for personal or commercial music production purposes, subject to the following conditions:

You may activate the Software on up to three (3) machines that you own or control. The license is granted to you as an individual and may not be shared with, transferred to, or resold to any other person or entity. You may deactivate a machine at any time to free up an activation slot for a different machine.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

Redistribute, sublicense, sell, resell, lease, rent, or transfer the Software or your license to any third party. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software. Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software. Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations. Share license keys or activation credentials with others.

4. Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, it is fully functional for the period stated on the product's page (typically seven (7) days) and requires no payment information. After the trial period expires, you must purchase a license to continue using the Software. Free editions (such as Interlock Free) are licensed under these Terms at no cost and may be limited in features.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF) and exclude taxes. Where sales tax or VAT applies, Paddle calculates it based on your location and adds it at checkout, so you see the full amount before you pay. Paddle may also show the amount in your local currency. Payment is processed at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect existing purchases.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a fourteen (14) day refund policy from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Software, you may request a full refund within this period by contacting us. Upon refund, your license will be deactivated and you must uninstall all copies of the Software. Refund requests made after the 14-day period will not be accepted.

Where a fully functional free trial is available, we encourage you to evaluate the Software before purchasing.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, graphics, user interface design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Salvador Leu. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. Your purchase grants you a license to use the Software — it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

8. Updates and Support

Your license includes access to all updates within the current major version of the Software at no additional cost. We aim to provide reasonable support but do not guarantee response times or the resolution of all issues. Support is provided via email and our website.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hardware or software configurations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Salvador Leu be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Software. Our total liability for any claim related to the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

11. Termination

We may terminate your license immediately if you breach any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and uninstall all copies. Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless required by applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
